The Sheffield Kite Fliers are once again heading off on our annual trip to Black Rock Sands on the last weekend of March. With a 2 mile stretch of rock hard sand and plenty of room for kiters of all abilities it’s our most popular trip of the year. You must have BKSA Insurance and a helmet. Beach parking charges may apply, the beach road must be kept clear at all times, and pedestrians have priority over all kiting activities.
Kite Surfing and Kite Buggies together with all such related sports are not permitted at Black Rock Sands within British Summer Time. We have permission from the Maritime and Country Parks Officer for this year’s trip.
