Post by Monkey » Tue Nov 06, 2018 1:31 pm

Hi everyone

SKF 2018 AGM is being held on Thursday 29th November at the Sportsman Pub, Lodge Moor starting at 7.00pm. Everyone is welcome. The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

1. Introduction and Apologies (Jason)
2. Review of 2018 (Jason)
3. Club’s finances (Anna)
4. Review Constitution and Affiliation Documents (Jason)
5. Committee election – BKSA required positions (All Members)
6. Support for the Committee (Jason introduction, All Members)
7. 2019 events and Trips (Paul/ Mal/ Liam)
8. AOB/ Questions (All Members)

For the SKF to continue we need the following 4 committee positions to be filled:
• Chairperson
• Secretary/ Treasurer
• Child Protection officer
• Events/ Trips

If you are interested in knowing more about any of these positions please ask any of the current committee members. If you are interested in standing for any of these positions please contact me (Anna) to register your interest. All positions will be open for election at the AGM and voted on. Should people wish to share a role, more than one person can put themselves forward for election at the AGM.

If you wish to be considered for a position but are unable to attend the AGM please still put your name forward, and you will be included in the vote. The SKF cannot exist without the committee, so if you want the club to continue please consider standing for one of the above positions.

For the club to continue all committee positions must be filled and they must be voted in by club members so please do try to come and support the club if possible - if there are not enough members at the AGM then the committee cannot be reformed and the club may have to close

Again if you cannot attend but have any comments your would like to raise please just let me know in advance of the meeting and we will make sure they are raised.

We are looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible on the 29th
Anna, on behalf of the Committee
