Yes newbies are always welcome as long as they have BKSA insurance, a helmet, and kite killers or a leash. But we aren't able to help newbies improve their kiting skills at some of the places we visit so it's best to check with us if this is something you'd like us to help with.

We are usually allowed to take two cars up to the site (the rest stay in the car park at the bottom of the hill) so we should be able to accommodate you although the space they give us to park in is next to trees.
