BPKA Affiliation

The Sheffield Kite Fliers are Affiliated to the BPKA.  As the BPKA is a national organisation it is sometimes preferred by local councils or other organisations to deal with a smaller club who are local to the area and more readily accessible. It also allows each individual club to be able to negotiate directly with the councils etc and work together to create a mutually acceptable set of conditions for use of any areas made available.

As part of our affiliation all full members of the club must be members of the BPKA.

Below are a list of our club policies and procedures that are required to complete our affiliation with the BPKA:

    • Child Protection Policy v1.0
    • Code of Conduct 1.0
    • Constitution v1.0 (Revised)
    • Emergency Action Plan v1.0
    • First Aid Policy v1.0 (Revised)
    • Official Flying Site Detail v1.0
    • Risk Assessment v1.0 (Revised)
    • Safety Guidelines v1.0
